JUSTIN DEDMAN
HEAD COACH
Justin Dedman, a Lincoln, Illinois native and veteran coach with 20 years of collegiate baseball experience, was named the sixth head coach in Bradley Baseball history. Known for his success in player development and recruiting, Dedman has coached 34 MLB Draft picks, including first-rounder Sam Bachman, and helped produce 10 All-Americans.
He joins Bradley after two seasons as recruiting coordinator at Loyola Marymount, where his offense led the WCC in eight categories and set multiple school records. Dedman also served as Director of Player Development at Missouri, helping the Tigers to a 30-win SEC season and a sweep of CWS-bound Tennessee.
Dedman has a career coaching record of 575–326 and has elevated programs at Miami (OH), Lee University, and others. He is widely respected for his individualized development approach, strong communication, and focus on building championship teams and character-driven athletes. He and his wife, Brittany, along with their children Norah and Maddux, are proud to join the Bradley and Peoria communities.
CURTIS KELLOGG
RECRUITING COORDINATOR
Curtis Kellogg joins Bradley Baseball for his first season after three years as Recruiting Coordinator and Hitting Coach at Central Arkansas. Known for his offensive expertise, Kellogg previously led Arkansas Tech to a conference title and one of the top offenses in the country, hitting .345 in league play and producing multiple All-Conference and All-American hitters.
Before his college coaching success, Kellogg served as a hitting analyst with the Seattle Mariners' High-A affiliate, the Modesto Nuts, during their 2017 California League Championship season. He worked with 11 players who have reached the big leagues, including 2020 AL Rookie of the Year Kyle Lewis.
A Sonora, California native, Kellogg played at Cal State Stanislaus and Merced College, earning all-conference honors and a Gold Glove as an infielder. He brings a strong track record of player development and offensive production to the Bradley staff.


JEFF BOLEN
PITCHING COACH​​​​​​​
Jeff Bolen joins Bradley Baseball as Pitching Coach after a successful run developing high-level arms at the junior college and NCAA levels.
Bolen spent the past six seasons as Head Coach and Pitching Coach at St. Charles CC, leading the program to its first conference title in 2024 and setting multiple pitching records. During his tenure, SCC produced 15 Division I pitchers, seven All-Region arms, and one MLB signee with the Padres.
He previously served as Pitching Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Wabash Valley College, where his staff ranked among the nation’s best and helped the team finish third at the 2017 NJCAA World Series. Bolen also coached at Fontbonne University and has seen multiple pitchers sign professional contracts.
A native of Illinois, Bolen holds degrees from MacMurray College and Fontbonne University. He and his wife have one daughter, Maia.


SEAN WINSTON
DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR
Sean Winston enters his first season as an assistant coach for Bradley Baseball in 2026, bringing a decade of Division I experience and a track record of developing elite defensive units and NCAA-caliber talent.
Winston spent the past nine seasons at Gonzaga, where he coached infielders and baserunners, served as the third base coach, and assisted with hitters and defensive positioning. During his time in Spokane, Gonzaga captured four West Coast Conference regular-season titles and earned four NCAA Tournament appearances, including the program’s first-ever at-large bid in 2016. Under Winston’s guidance, the Zags consistently ranked among the top fielding teams in the country, setting a program record with a .984 fielding percentage in 2018 and finishing seventh nationally in 2021.
Prior to Gonzaga, Winston served as an assistant coach at Paradise Valley Community College in Phoenix, helping lead the Pumas to an ACCAC Championship in 2015 while overseeing recruiting and offensive coordination. He also coached in the prestigious Alaska Baseball League with the Matsu Miners, winning back-to-back divisional titles and mentoring multiple league award winners, including two ABL Players of the Year and the 2015 batting champion.
A former two-time First Team All-Conference second baseman at Hawaii Pacific, Winston helped lead the Sea Warriors to a PacWest Championship and a second-place finish at the 2010 Western Regional. He also played two seasons at Lower Columbia College, guiding the Red Devils to two division titles and a second-place NWAC Championship finish.
MATT GARCIA
INFIELD COORDINATOR
Garcia joins Bradley Baseball for his first season as Infield Coordinator after playing and coaching at the Division I and junior college levels. A standout infielder, Garcia spent the 2023 season at Missouri, starting 37 games and posting a .977 fielding percentage. He delivered several clutch performances for the Tigers, including a walk-off single against No. 4 Vanderbilt and a three-RBI game against Georgia.
Prior to Mizzou, Garcia was a key contributor at Bethune-Cookman and Chipola College. He started 57 games at B-CU in 2022, batting .310 with 74 hits and 36 RBIs, and earned all-conference honors at Chipola in 2021 while hitting .310 with a .385 OBP. Garcia also played in the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League with the Chatham Anglers and was named a preseason Freshman of the Year by D1Baseball during his time at B-CU.
A versatile and defensive-minded infielder, Garcia brings championship experience, player development insight, and a strong understanding of the infield to the Bradley staff.
AJ PABST
DIRECTOR OF PITCHING PERFORMANCE
AJ Pabst is entering his first season with Bradley in 2025. Pabst attended Argyle High School in Argyle, TX, and played at Davidson College in North Carolina, where he led the team with 23 appearances in 2023, recording 2 wins with a 3.72 ERA out of the Wildcat bullpen. There, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Pabst finished his playing career as a graduate at UNC Charlotte, making 3 appearances for the 49ers in 2024.
In 2025, Pabst was an Assistant Coach at Iowa Western Community College. He primarily assisted Pitching Coach Jeff Bolen as the bullpen coach and led the analytics department for the program. Utilizing Rapsodo and custom pitching models, he helped the staff reach the 2025 Midwest District Championship.
Prior to Iowa Western, Pabst was the Pitching Coach for the Concord Athletics of the SCBL in Concord, North Carolina. He also worked as an assistant coach at the Practice Factory Baseball and Softball Academy in St. Louis, Missouri.
